We establish environmental baselines for the world’s marine and freshwater ecosystems and publicize their condition in manners that inspire the public to demand and support effective protection. As of 2017, we foster over 100 projects in 38 countries and continue to grow each year.

Your contribution ensures our volunteers can establish baselines in both degraded and thriving aquatic ecosystems, giving hope that effective local, focused and informed conservation measures will be enacted.

Project Baseline is a conservation initiative started in 2009 by the charitable, not-for-profit organization Global Underwater Explorers (GUE).

Project Baseline has been at the forefront of increasing awareness of Florida reef decline as well as monitoring the health index for nearly 70 marine and freshwater environments world-wide since 2009.
